Coal India (CIL) reported its highest-ever monthly coal supplies at 70.3 million tonnes in October FY27, reflecting a 19% increase from the previous year. The company also recorded exceptional performance in power sector supplies and coal production amidst operational challenges. Coal supplies to the power sector touched a record 57.1 MT in October, crossing the 57 MT mark for the first time in the company's history.
