A 15-year-old up-and-coming Thai golfer died after being struck by lightning during a tournament in central Thailand. Aeyavarin Pradubyart died in hospital on Monday (Nov 2), a day after the incident. Her family has criticised tournament officials for failing to suspend play despite signs of an approaching storm. A 31-year-old female caddy was also seriously injured. Organisers have launched an investigation into the tragedy.
