Sensex up points Why stock market is rising for the second straight day. At around 9.23 am, the BSE Sensex was up 801.87 points, or 1.08%, at 75,261.40. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 205.95 points, or 0.89%, to trade at 23,259.05. At 10:22 am, Sensex surges 768.70 points, or 1.02%, to trade at 76,461.48, while the Nifty advances 200.6 points, or 0.86%, to trade at 23,641.40.
