Green crackers are designed to produce less air and noise pollution compared to conventional fireworks. They achieve significant reductions in particulate matter and gaseous emissions. Various firecracker restrictions have been imposed in Delhi over the years, yet many have been frequently ignored. Recent pollution readings demonstrate ongoing challenges related to firecracker use during festivals.
