This year's haze has not affected Singapore's food supply, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu told parliament on Tuesday (Nov 3), citing the country's diversified food sources as a reason. While there are currently no plans for additional haze-specific financial assistance for hawkers who may have been impacted by a drop in footfall to hawker centres, Ms Fu said the government is prepared to take appropriate measures if the situation.
