Category A and B Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums are converging again, this time due to the growing popularity of electric vehicles (EVs), said Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow in parliament on Tuesday (Nov 3). He explained that manufacturers and workshops can easily adjust the power output of EVs using software, allowing the same car model to qualify for different COE categories.
