The Madhya Pradesh high court has given the school education department two weeks to comply with its order restraining recovery of alleged dues from a retired teacher's pension. The court warned that if the order is not followed by Nov 17, the department's principal secretary, commissioner of treasury and accounts, and Chhindwara district education officer will have to appear in person.
