Netanyahu's right-wing and ultra-Orthodox bloc secured 53 seats in the 120-seat Knesset. Together, his opponents won 67 seats. But 19 of them come from Arab-majority parties, and relying on them is highly controversial in Israeli politics. Netanyahu's bloc is leading the count but remains short of a parliamentary majority. The opposition could still challenge his hold on power if it finds a way to secure enough support in the Knesset.
