PWD has set an ambitious target of constructing 350 bridges and upgrading 15,000km of roads to BMBC (bituminous macadam and bituminous concrete) standards during this govt’s tenure as part of a comprehensive plan to modernise infrastructure in Keralam. PWD minister PK Basheer said administrative sanction has been granted for projects worth Rs 2,000 crore over the past six months.
