A PMPML bus rammed into a bus stop, injuring eight passengers after its driver applied sudden brakes to save an elderly woman walking towards it on Monday. The incident occurred on the BRTS route on Pune-Satara road around 4.15pm. Civic and transport authorities are coordinating field operations to improve commuter safety, reduce transit bottlenecks, and streamline daily travel across key urban corridors.
