The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested a 51-year-old executive engineer of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (Mahavitaran) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a civil contractor in Bhandup. The Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested a senior MSEDCL engineer in Mumbai for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe to clear pending payments for a civil contractor.
