Gujarat High Court on Monday allowed a 12-and-a-half-year-old rape survivor from Devbhumi Dwarka district to terminate her 25-week pregnancy. The High Court issued the order on a petition filed by the girl's mother, who sought permission to terminate the pregnancy, stating that continuing it would cause further mental anguish.
