Actress Shafaq Naaz criticised social media trolls who questioned her Muslim identity after she shared Karwa Chauth photographs wearing sindoor. She clarified that her husband, Zeeshan, is Muslim and said celebrating another community’s festival does not change her faith. Emphasising mutual respect, she vowed to continue celebrating Eid, Diwali, Holi and other festivals.
