The do-not-burst crackers appeal video by Dia Mirza was taken down from the civic body's social media accounts after BJP Mumbai chief Ameet Satam objected to her video. Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde called Dia Mirza “anti-Hindutva” and said she was “100% blacklisted” after BMC removed the actor’s anti-firecracker Diwali video. Ritu Tawde said Mirza would not be featured on the BMC's official portal or invited to civic programmes.
