A major controversy has erupted in Punjab after CCTV footage allegedly showed a police officer planting drugs at the residence of Shiv Sena leader Mahant Kashmir Giri in Khanna. The footage purportedly shows Assistant Sub-Inspector Sukhdev Singh placing a packet under a mattress, where police later claimed to have recovered around 30 grams of heroin.
