Not sure if a police call is legit? From Monday (Nov 2), all outgoing calls from the Singapore Police Force (SPF) will use the single caller ID number, 6000 0999, to help the public distinguish legitimate police calls from scams. Each call will also be followed by an SMS from the official "gov.sg" sender ID.
