The BMC has removed actor Dia Mirza’s anti-firecracker video from its social media accounts after BJP Mumbai president Ameet Satam objected to the Diwali message. The video was part of the civic body’s campaign following Bombay High Court directions to curb firecracker-related pollution. While Mirza’s video has been taken down, similar messages featuring Madhuri Dixit, Ajinkya Rahane and Nishigand.
