Delhi Police arrested Vishwanath Singh, who had been absconding for over 26 years in a murder case. The case originally involved the death of Jai Prakash, who was found injured in 1998. Investigations later determined that Singh allegedly committed premeditated murder out of jealousy. After being declared a proclaimed offender, Singh evaded arrest by changing locations frequently. A Crime Branch team eventually tracked him down to northeastern Delhi.
