Cyclone Murasu: As of 5:30 pm on November 1, Cyclone Murasu was moving northwestward at a speed of around 25 kmph. It was located approximately 420 km from Chennai and 490 km from Nellore. The freshly brewing cyclonic storm may hit Andhra Pradesh coast on Nov 3. If it fully develops into a cyclone, it will be called Murasu, meaning ‘drum’ in Tamil |.
