The two were reportedly abducted by unidentified miscreants on October 28 while travelling between Hengbung and Taphou Kuki village in Kangpokpi district. Joint security forces recovered the bodies of two Kuki youths missing since October 28, as a 48-hour shutdown continues in Kangpokpi. Victims in Kangpokpi were two 20-year-olds whose disappearance had prompted the Committee on Tribal Unity (CoTU) to call a shutdown across the district.
