As followers of Christ, we are called to reject the shifting sands of moral relativism and stand firmly upon the eternal truth revealed by God. For the Christian, and especially for the Catholic, the answer is clear. The authority to determine truth belongs to God alone. Truth is not invented by humanity, nor is it subject to popular opinion or cultural trends. It is rooted in the eternal nature of God Himself.
