Thomas Bradley has been sworn in as Queensland’s 28th Governor, becoming the first openly gay person to hold the office. The ceremony at Parliament House on November 1 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the former Court of Appeal judge, whose career spans law, education, the arts and community advocacy. Bradley succeeds Dr Jeannette Young, who has completed her five-year term.
