Western Cape Mobility MEC Isaac Sileku is set to visit minibus taxi ranks across Cape Town on Monday, 2 November, as the province grapples with another wave of violence in the taxi industry. The visit will give the minister an opportunity to assess taxi operations on the ground, at a time when commuters and operators are facing growing uncertainty over safety and access to transport.
