A 23-year-old woman named Anupama climbed a water tank in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi after her fiancé, Awadhesh Kumar, reportedly called off their wedding following a dispute over a call recording. She travelled nearly four kilometres to Makhaipur village and refused to come down. Police conducted a rescue operation lasting several hours before safely bringing her down.
