France witnessed a third consecutive weekend of mass protests, with around 320,000 people taking to the streets over rising living costs and education issues. Mostly young demonstrators marched across the country, including 20,000 in the northern city of Lille. Authorities deployed 70,000 police and gendarmes, while Paris marches were rerouted to the outskirts. Minor clashes broke out as masked protesters hurled bottles at riot police. Around 300 people were arrested nationwide.
