Chief minister Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), which came to power in the state in May, has backed the demand to scrap NEET. The government said the status of criminal cases against NEET protesters between May 10 and July 31 this year was brought to the notice of the chief minister and as per his advice such cases.
