The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy recognised the state under the Renewable Energy State Assessment Framework. Uttarakhand has secured second rank among special category states under the MNRE's Renewable Energy State Assessment Framework. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami credited the state's clean. The MNRE assessment considers capacity addition, policy framework, grid readiness, DISCOM performance and investment climate. The state will receive recognition at the Bharat RE Summit and Expo.
