Metro 4’s first phase targeted for December-end; Ghodbunder highway works to resume after Diwali. Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik has announced that major infrastructure projects, including Metro 4 and the city’s coastal road, are expected to significantly reduce traffic bottlenecks in Thane. The upcoming Gaimukh–Kasarvadavali–Cadbury Junction stretch is expected to help ease traffic congestion along Ghodbunder road.
