Net additions overall remain far lower than the number of names deleted at the draft stage, leaving close to one crore fewer voters on the final roll than before the SIR. Karnataka has published its final electoral roll after a 129-day Special Intensive Revision. The exercise reduced the electorate by nearly 99.32 lakh while adding 8.64 lakh names to the draft tally.
