A Panvel court has sentenced Shrimant Anna Nagargoje to life imprisonment for murdering his wife and six-year-old daughter in June 2016. He fled to Goa, assumed the identity of Shripal Yadav and worked as a hotel waiter before being arrested in January 2020. The court also imposed fines under three IPC sections.
