Waymo is joining forces with Toyota to bring its autonomous driving technology to more international markets, starting with Japan in 2027. The partnership will see Toyota build electric bZ4X. Toyota and Waymo will begin testing a fleet of autonomous bZ4X electric vehicles in Japan in 2027, with expansion to the UK and other markets planned later.
