The clerics are said to be in stable condition after receiving medical evaluation and expert debriefing. The Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Bello, has said three of the six Islamic clerics (Imams) kidnapped on September 12, while travelling to Talata Mafara, Zamfara State, have been rescued. Mr Bello gave the confirmation in an interview with some select reporters on Friday in Gusau.
