The flood situation in Aska block of Ganjam district in Odisha is gradually improving, but normal life remains disrupted. Around five feet of water is still flowing through Laxmi Bazar, Binoba Marg and Taluka Road, though the water level has started declining. Residents said that they were forced to move to the terraces of their houses as floodwater entered their homes and continued to rise.
