Several villages in Odisha’s Ganjam district continue to remain surrounded by floodwaters, leaving residents stranded. Many villages in Chhatrapur and Khallikote blocks are still facing inundation, even as water levels have started receding in some areas. While the situation has improved in a few villages, floodwater continues to remain inside several houses, adding to the difficulties faced by residents.
