The Strait of Hormuz has witnessed a fresh maritime security incident after a crude oil tanker carrying 27 Indian seafarers was targeted in an explosive attack, raising concerns over the safety of commercial shipping in one of the world. Fortunately, all 27 Indian crew members escaped without injuries, Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal confirmed.
