Three BJP-supported councillors of the Municipal Council (MC), Nurpur, on Friday approached the local SDM and the officiating Executive Officer of the MC, seeking deferment of e-tenders issued on October 17 for 11 development works worth around Rs 22 lakh. The works are to be carried out through the Local Area Development Fund (LADF) of the MLA and the MP. The tenders are scheduled to open on the afternoon of October 31.
