Kerala government orders an investigation into reports of expired Remdesivir being administered to Nipah patients. Muraleedharan informed the Assembly on Thursday that Remdesivir injections, which had expired in May 2023, were administered to patients at hospitals across the state in subsequent years, including those undergoing treatment for Nipah infection. The government has ordered an investigation to determine whether the use of the expired medication was linked to any patient deaths.
