Madhya Pradesh plans Special Area Development Authorities (SADAs) in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and Jabalpur to accelerate urban expansion. MPRDC has begun preliminary surveys for the proposed projects. Under the land pooling model, farmers will receive 50% of their land back after development. The zones may accommodate industries, hospitals, colleges and townships.
