The National Green Tribunal criticised Bhopal Municipal Corporation for submitting an incomplete report on 50 illegal plastic recycling units, single-use plastic restrictions and e-waste disposal. It demanded unit-wise enforcement details and a comprehensive compliance report within four weeks. The tribunal scheduled the next hearing for January 7, 2027.
