A 33-year-old businessman from Paldi has approached the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB), alleging that three men cheated him of Rs 24.2 lakh after promising to secure a Rs 31.2 crore govt contract to supply two lakh school bags in Assam. Civic and transport authorities are coordinating field operations to improve commuter safety, reduce transit bottlenecks, and streamline daily travel across key urban corridors.
