The action followed a coordinated inspection drive in October, during which the department seized food stock worth Rs 5,00,14,040 across 10 locations. The biggest seizure was recorded at a cold storage facility in Turbhe where 91,353 kg of dry fruits and spices worth Rs 4.12 crore were seized.
