The investigation by Reuters revealed how a web of foreign intermediaries and shell companies helped Iran sustain its military supply chain. Iran has used a network of more than 5,000 secret military-linked agencies to import billions of dollars in weapons components, explosives, rocket fuel ingredients and heavy-duty vehicles.
