Five labourers from Nayagarh district have been stranded at Baidhar Temple near Pratapur village in Ganjam district's Purushottampur block after floodwater surrounded the area. On Thursday, the workers went to Purushottampur for work. After completing their work, they were returning towards Santhoshpur when rising floodwater near Pratapur left them stranded. They later moved to the temple for safety as the water level continued to rise.
