Cape Town minibus taxis are expected to resume services on Friday after talks with SANTACO, as police support is promised amid renewed taxi violence. The City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Rob Quintas, said on Thursday evening that the industry was engaging with its associations and members, with a commitment to resume services for the morning commute.
