PNB said it had taken serious cognisance of complaints regarding alleged financial irregularities involving certain fixed deposit and savings bank accounts at its Greater Noida branch. Punjab National Bank has suspended several employees, including a branch manager, after customers at a branch in Greater Noida alleged that nearly ₹35 crore had gone missing from their savings accounts and fixed deposits.
