For generations, the Mahabharata has lived in the Indian imagination as an epic of great battles, bitter rivalries and complex family ties. I’ve been fascinated with theMahabharatasince I was a child. The stories of theDevasand theAsuras, the Vimanas, theDeva Astras andSamudra Manthan: there were so many magical stories that would send my imagination soaring.
