A special MPID court has convicted Indian EMU Life Pvt. Ltd. and three office bearers in a ₹89.18-lakh investor fraud case, sentencing them to six years in prison. The company allegedly promised attractive returns through an emu egg booking scheme. The court rejected the defence argument that investors complained before their deposits matured.
