A man’s body remained at his home for over 17 hours after members of his community allegedly refused to help with the last rites because he had married a woman from another caste in Bolangir district of Odisha. The incident took place on Wednesday in Khalipathar village under Belpada police station limits. The deceased, identified as Gayadhar Bag, had married Ullas Bag through a love marriage around 32 years ago.
