Continuous rainfall under the influence of Cyclone Arnab has triggered fresh landslides and flash floods in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, disrupting road connectivity in several areas. Falling boulders and uprooted trees have also raised safety concerns along ghat roads. According to reports, a massive rock fell from a hillside near Andharikote at Kalinga Ghat, while a tree was uprooted near Byaghradevi Temple and fell onto the road due to heavy rain and strong.
