Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has dismissed speculation that the third instalment of Tanu Weds Manu would feature a fresh cast, confirming that the popular romantic-comedy franchise cannot continue without its original leads, R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut. The director, who helmed the first two films in the franchise, said any future instalment would retain both actors, putting an end to reports that the third film was being planned with a new cast.
